How are you?
Spring is just around the corner. If you are thinking of selling your home this year, this is a great time to contact me. Will the Market Go Up or Down?
People who know me that I am a realtor, recently more often ask me, “How is your business going?” What they mean in most of the time is how the real esatate market goes now. It seems a lot of people wonder if the market would go up or down in this economy’s uncertainty. Then I tell them, “I do not know since I am not the God Almighty.” What I can tell them is statistics of the current data. Home sales are still going strong. No signs of down turn of its price for now. We see the constant price increase in most of the Chicago land. Increased interest rate may affect the housing price and its market, but so far we do not see much of impact of it. What we anticipated of the Inflation effect is visible now in home listing prices. Shortage of home supplies, which has been lasting for a few years still going on, makes this market the seller’s market. |

Tips for Home Buyers
If you start actively looking for your home hoping to buy within one year or six months, here are 4 things that you need to do/have. 1. Pre-approval or bank statement for proof of funding
2. Assign your designated realtor
3. Assign your real estate lawyer
4. Find a home inspector
I’d like to emphasize that you’d be better off having a good real estate lawyer from the beginning of your home search process.
Having a good real estate lawyer is very important. This may save you lots of money in the deal down the road. I recommend my clients to assign a lawyer specialized in real estate. If you don’t have any, I can provide the contact information of a pool of real estate lawyers who have been successfully doing business together. |
